Neither can Eddie Jordan but he is still looking !

PS: Anyone else remember when Chrsyler ran an F1 engine in the back of a
McLaren but were turned down by the team in favour of Peugeot ? (oh – I am
assuming Chrysler are a GM firm?)

Bad assumption. (Ever heard of Daimler-Chrysler*?) The GM badges
include Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac, and GMC – the
last being used only for trucks.
(*How do you pronounce "Daimler-Chrysler?" You say "Daimler" – the
"Chrysler" is silent. . . .)

Not to mention Opel, Vauxhaul and Holden.
LF:)
Chrysler has never been part of GM, they are now part of Daimler. When Lambo
was in F1, they were owned by chrysler.

No, he’s not. Honda just announced they’re supplying Eddie with full-works
engines for next year.

Not really, but in the ‘Autosport’ from June 7 there was a footnote about
Mauro Forghieri. He said that he will never forget what Senna said in
1993 when testing the Lamborghini-F1 engine. Senna said that Mauro build
a very good engine. IMO Lamborghini was competitive before the 1994
season but Ron prefered a big manufacturer not knowing that Peugeot would
never reach the topic. In 1995 they changed the engine again.
Ron had agreed with Lamborghini to run their engines in 1994 but they had
no written contract, and Ron said that they could rely on his word….
after the Peugeot move the Italians were pretty pissed. One more chapter
in the "The Ron Dennis story".
