Jag's new colour

I’ve just seen a picture Jag’s livery for next year on the autosport site,
the colours look good but I thought the plan was to use one of the
many variants of British Racing Green rather than 7up green!

Seems to be using _all_ the variants of British racing green in the
photos I’ve seen.  Remember that British racing green is something of a
movable feast and has included most of the colours on the jaguar (with
the possible exception of the white bits):-)

JYS has said that its likely they won’t use this variation of BRG anyway as
it will not look good on the telly. I remember Jordan had the same problem
when they did their car in B&H gold, it looked great in real life but very
dull on the box. When you see a Ferrari in the flesh they look more orange
than scarlet but on the box they come out much darker..

I totally agree. It is a shame that even people like Stewart are
forgetting history and traditions. You just have to look at any BRM or
Ferrari of yore to see the difference. One is, yes, 7UP green, the
    other (Marlboro, Shell?) orange.

One of the big surprises for me at my first live F1 race (Detroit, 1987)
was the Day-glo orange colour of the "red" on the (then) Marlboro
    McLarens.

Television adds ten pounds and takes away 40% colour saturation..
